Linda Chapman
Linda is an abstract Fine Art Photographic artist based in London.
After graduating in fine art photography and working as a photographer for some years, she decided about 5 years ago to give her time and attention full time to her art.
With a long time passion for photography, she prefers to keep it as natural as possible. Therefore artworks are all about reflections, natural sunlight and refraction. She does not use manipulation.
Her artworks are her representation of how her mind interprets things she sees or hears into colourful complex stories of abstract hidden detail. Carefully observing the light through many layers reflected in the glass can take a long time to find the perfect moment and then lasting only seconds.
Linda tries to bring a unique perspective on city life and uncover many unseen fascinating urban details. She hopes that the viewer will explore these urban impressionist images and take a different view of the city they live in.
Linda's work is produced in small limited editions and presented on aluminium Dibond or float mounted and framed in wood.
Linda is a member of artcan.org.uk and
Linda was awarded the Fujifilm Photo Yearbook in 2020 and exhibited around the UK including The Mall Galleries London plus New York, Vienna and Paris.
